Since 2001, Stogit Adriatica has implemented an integrated environmental and safety management system for its facilities, in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI EN ISO 45001:18 standards. At the same time, the voluntary adoption of Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009 (EMAS III) for the Cellino Attanasio (TE) site, formalised and made public the commitment made to promote sustainable development and the improvement of the environmental quality and of the territory where the company is active. Consistently with Stogit Adriatica’s commitment in this field, the guidelines for our activities are: continuously improving the efficiency and performance of the Storage Sites, keeping up with technological advancements, protecting the environment and workplace health and safety.
In 2010,a follow-up to the extension of the scope of application of the Seveso directive (now Legislative Decree 105 of 2015) to storage sites this system was further integrated with the prescriptions of aforementioned Legislative Decree.

Documents prior to 3 March 2025 were published by the company named Edison Stoccaggio. On 3 March 2025, Snam, through its subsidiary Stogit, completed the acquisition from Edison of 100% of the share capital of Edison Stoccaggio, changing its corporate name to Stogit Adriatica.
